3 Degrees Asset Management Receives Best Distressed Debt Fund Award at the AsianInvestor 2008 Achievement Awards

SINGAPORE (April 25, 2008) - 3 Degrees Asset Management (3 Degrees) is pleased to announce that is has, for the second time, been awarded Best Distressed Debt / Special Situations Fund at the AsianInvestor 2008 Achievement Awards ceremony for the performance of The Asian Debt Fund (ADF).  ADF won the same award in 2006.

Since its January 2004 inception, ADF has grown to US$400 million and has generated a 15% net unlevered IRR.  The 2007 Net Return was 14.22%, with no drawdowns.

3 Degrees places a foremost emphasis on the preservation of capital while seeking to achieve exceptional, low risk returns.  The Firm invests in inefficient markets, managing risk by closely adhering to an investment philosophy that stresses a rigorous due diligence process.

In addition to the AsianInvestor awards, 3 Degrees has received other industry awards, including:
  • Best Asian Distressed Debt Fund at the 2005 Eurekahedge Asian Master’s of Hedge Awards
  • Best Singapore Hedge Fund at the 2005 Eurekahedge Asian Masters of Hedge Awards
