3 Degrees Asset Management Pte Ltd ("3 Degrees") announced today that it has spun-off from Finansa Pcl and is now an independent firm. 3 Degrees has also completed the acquisition of ADF Management, the investment manager of The Asian Debt Fund ("ADF"). 3 Degrees is wholly-owned by its founder, Moe Ibrahim.
"This spin-off reflects the maturity of our business and embodies the entrepreneurial spirit inherent to our industry," said Mr. Ibrahim. "We are excited to continue our journey as an independent firm, giving us added flexibility to pursue our goals".

In 2006, ADF was awarded "Best Distressed Fund" at the Asian Investor Achievement Awards. In 2007, Mr. Ibrahim was selected by Institutional Investor as one of "20 Rising Stars of Hedge Funds".
